About the application

The Moj EU DZS application is the official application of the Republic of Serbia for safely storing certificates of COVID-19 testing results, vaccination, and recovery, which are EU-compatible.

• The application allows the user to scan QR codes of their family members.
• Users independently decide when and to whom to show their data.
• No prior registration is required to use this application.

How does the application work?

The application enables the scanning and storage of testing, vaccination, and recovery certificates on the user's phone.

• The QR code on the certificates contains only essential information about the validity of COVID-19 test, vaccination, and recovery.
• Users can obtain certificates through the eGovernment Portal. Upon receiving the certificates via email, they need to activate the Moj EU DZS application and click on the "Add Certificate" option. When the camera on their phone or tablet is activated, they must scan the QR code located on the certificate (aim the camera at the part of the certificate containing the QR code). After scanning the certificate, they need to press the "Accept" button to save it on their device.

How are data stored?

No user registration is required to use this application. All data scanned by users is stored exclusively on their device locally.

• The information contained in the QR code is a minimal dataset defined by the European Union.
• After scanning the QR code, only the certificate status, name, surname, and date of birth are displayed.
• The QR code is protected by an electronic signature and cannot be falsified.
